The well-known jazz programme Co Live! with Co de Kloet can be heard from 7th January on the Concertzender. Every Saturday night from 21.00 to 22.00 Co will be presenting a programme full of jazz and associated styles.
Jazz on the Concertzender
The Concertzender offers every possible jazz genre. Every Saturday there are programmes with jazz, from ragtime to crossovers, made by jazz musicians, music scientists, journalists and aficianados. Sem de Jongh, director of the Concertzender: “Jazz is one of the corks on which the Concertzender floats. It is sometimes fragile, and often surprising music which is a part of the Dutch podium world. Jazz will always keep reinventing itself and that earns it a regular spot on the radio. We’re happy that, despite all the pressures, we can broaden our offering and welcome listeners to CO LIVE! on the Concertzender .”

Co Live! is already a well-known title among jazz lovers. De Kloet: “I’m really happy that the Concertzender offers a platform for familiar and new music. Co Live! is a programme with interest in young and new talent, thanks to my collaboration with the Prinses Christina Concours, the Laren Jazz Festival and many conservatoria. Of course there is room for new cd’s. And we want to record in Nick Vollebregt in Laren, register small and large festivals and broadcast our own productions with national and international soloists and orchestras , for example a series about pianists and the Metropole Orchestra with guitar virtuoso Steve Vai.
