In ‘The Stroll’ part II of the series ‘Felix and the string quartet’. Centrepiece to day is a stormy, sometimes raw quartet in which the 18 year old Mendelssohn expressed a huge mix of deep emotions: love, sadness from love and grief over Beethoven’s death, who he worshipped.
